Boston steak & cream

This recipe is best with:

 

Ingredients

  • 500 g fillet steak, cut into 2 cm thick slices
  • 1 tsp Cape Culinary Foods steak seasoning
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 125 ml cream
  • salt to taste
  • red and green peppers, sliced in rings to garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat pan on low or medium.  
  • Drizzle olive oil onto steak.
  • Sprinkle steak seasoning
  • Place meat in pan and brown on all sides.
  • Cover with lid and turn off stove.
  • Allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add cream and allow to cook over low heat for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with sliced red and green peppers.

Serve immediately with hot garlic bread and potato wedges.
