cape whiting in yoghurt tarragon sauce

This recipe is best with:

 

A blend of Cape Culinary herbs in a yoghurt dressing complimenting the succulent Hake flavours.

Ingredients

  • 2  Cape Whiting (Hake) Folded Steaks
  • 125 ml  Natural Yoghurt
  • 1 Garlic clove, crushed
  • 15 ml Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 15 ml Cape Culinary chopped Chives
  • 10 ml Cape Culinary Tarragon
  • 15 ml Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Place fish on a well greased oven tray.
  • Season and bake at 200 deg C for ± 20 minutes.
  • While the fish is baking, mix together the yoghurt, herbs, garlic, lemon juice and seasoning.
  • Serve the fish and green sauce with pan fried green vegetables.

Serve with oven baked vegetables and fluffy zesty white rice.
