Chicken Liver Peri Peri

The hot starter for any meal - can also be used as a light meal by itself!

Ingredients:
500g chicken livers
150ml white wine
250 ml natural yoghurt or cream
2 Large Onion, chopped
4 Large Tomatoes, chopped
1 jar
Cape Culinary Bite
Cape Culinary Rock Salt & Cape Culinary Black Peppercorns

Preparation:
 - Brown onion, till soft and golden
 - Brown chicken livers and add to onion
 - Add tomatoes, cook about 5 - 7 mins
 - Add wine, simmer to reduce to about 50% of volume
 - Add yoghurt, stir to thicken & reduce to about 50% of volume
 - Sprinkle with
Cape Culinary Bite to taste, salt & pepper.
 - Simmer until cooked
 - Enjoy warm on toast, or rice or pasta.
