Ingredients
• 16
ounces penne pasta or similar shape
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 large (28 oz) can tomatoes, broken up
• 4 tablespoons Cape Culinary
freshly ground Pizzazz Seasoning
• Cape Culinary Foods
freshly ground salt and pepper
• 1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded cheese, Mozzarella
Preparation
Cook penne pasta in boiling salted water as directed on package;
drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a medium saucepan. Add onion;
sauté for about 4
minutes, or until tender. Add garlic, tomatoes, and the Pizzazz
seasoning, cook until
heated through. Taste and add salt and pepper. Combine cooked
penne pasta, sauce
and 1 cup shredded cheese in a lightly buttered casserole.
Sprinkle remaining cheese
on top. Bake penne pasta recipe for about 20 minutes.
