ZESTY GRILLED TUNA STEAKS

Ingredients
  • 6 fish steaks (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice or lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Cape Culinary freshly ground Zesty blend
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp Cape Culinary white wine mustard
     

Preparation

  • Preheat oven on grill
  • In a small bowl, mix together the lime / lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, soy sauce,  ginger, mustard and Zesty. Brush the fish with about one-third of the dressing saving the balance for later while fish is resting.
  • Place steaks directly on to the grill with drip tray below.
  • Grill the steaks until they are golden on the outside or grill to your perfection, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove steaks from the oven and place them on a serving platter and drizzle with the remainder of the lime and Zesty mixture.
  • Serve with piping hot white fluffy rice, with a side order of melted garlic and butter.
